REMOTE BATTERY ACCESS

M10 (3/8 in) Remote Battery Connection Post with Protective Cap — Single Remote Access Point | Through-Panel Mounting | Red or Black Protective Cap

DAIERTEK BCP-1 is a single remote battery connection post for bringing a battery-cable connection to an accessible panel or bulkhead. It is used where the battery itself is enclosed, recessed or difficult to reach and a clearly identified service connection is required at another location. The M10 (3/8 in) stud provides the principal cable-lug interface. A red or black protective cap supports polarity identification and helps reduce accidental contact when the post is not in use. The through-panel architecture separates the accessible connection point from the cable connection behind the mounting surface. BCP-1 is a passive connection component; it does not replace a fuse, circuit breaker or battery disconnect. Cable size, current rating, panel thickness, installation hole, insulation distance and upstream protection must be validated for the final vehicle or equipment system.

Product Details

  • 01 Accessible remote cable connection
Creates a dedicated battery connection point on a panel or bulkhead, reducing the need to reach the battery directly during approved charging, service or power-connection procedures.
  • 02 M10 (3/8 in) stud interface
Accepts compatible cable lugs and service clamps designed for the specified stud connection. Lug-hole size, cable cross-section, stack height and tightening torque must be defined in the installation specification.
  • 03 Color-coded protective cap
Red and black cap options support positive and negative identification and help reduce accidental contact. The cap is a touch-protection feature; environmental sealing must not be assumed without model-specific test evidence.

Use a direct terminal or adapter when the connection starts at the battery. Use a remote post when the battery connection must be brought to an accessible panel or service point.

Applications

Remote charging access

Provide an accessible cable connection where the battery is behind a seat, inside an enclosure or beneath equipment.

Fleet and service vehicles

Locate a clearly identified service post near the maintenance access area while keeping the battery and primary cables protected.

RV, marine and special-purpose equipment

Create a remote positive or negative connection point where space, compartment layout or service procedures make direct battery access impractical.

Application examples describe potential use cases, not verified fitment to a particular vehicle. Confirm polarity, cable size, protection, mounting space, environmental exposure and the approved service procedure before installation.
