PROTECTED REMOTE CONNECTION

250 A M10 (3/8 in) Through-Panel Battery Terminal Connector with Cover — Single Protected Remote Connection | M10 Stud Interface | Panel-Mounted Service Point

DAIERTEK BCP-2 is a protected through-panel battery terminal connector for creating a single remote high-current connection point. It passes the electrical connection through a panel or enclosure wall, allowing the service side and cable side to remain physically separated. The M10 (3/8 in) stud accepts compatible cable lugs, while the integrated cover helps reduce accidental contact at the accessible side. This architecture is useful when the battery or primary cable is inside a compartment but an external charging, service or power connection is required. BCP-2 is rated at 250 A in the current DAIER product listing. System approval must still consider duty cycle, cable gauge, lug stack, torque, temperature rise, panel thickness, creepage and clearance, environmental exposure and the required overcurrent-protection strategy.

Product Details

  • 01 Through-panel electrical interface
Provides a defined connection on both sides of a panel or enclosure, supporting cleaner cable routing and more accessible service points.
  • 02 Covered M10 connection point
The protective cover helps reduce unintended contact when the accessible stud is not in use. It does not replace enclosure sealing, circuit protection or a lockout device.
  • 03 High-current system integration
The published rating is meaningful only when the full connection system is engineered correctly. Specify compatible lugs, cable cross-section, tightening torque, conductor temperature class and duty cycle.

Applications

Battery-compartment service connection

Create a connection outside a closed or difficult-to-access battery compartment.

Vehicle bulkhead power pass-through

Route a high-current cable through a panel with an organized stud interface on each side.

Auxiliary equipment connection

Provide a protected power or return point for service equipment, subject to the approved system rating and protection design.

Application examples describe potential use cases, not verified fitment to a particular vehicle. Confirm polarity, cable size, protection, mounting space, environmental exposure and the approved service procedure before installation.
