Product Details
- 01 Two electrically isolated zinc alloy sections
Two separate zinc-alloy conductive sections provide rigid connection points for high-current cable distribution. Each section accepts one 4 AWG main cable and distributes it to four 8 AWG branch outputs, forming two independent 1-in / 4-out paths. The two sections are not electrically connected, so a positive feed and a negative return (or two separate circuits) can be organized within one compact assembly without unintended crossover between them. - 02 Transparent ABS protective cover
The transparent ABS cover helps reduce accidental contact with the connection points and keeps the cable terminations visible for inspection. It can be removed for installation and service; environmental sealing is not implied. - 03 Secure mounting base and Allen set screws
The molded base includes predrilled holes for secure installation on a suitable flat panel, amplifier rack or equipment board. Allen hex set screws retain the stripped conductors; cable preparation, tightening torque and strain relief should follow the installation requirements.

Input and output counts are totals for each block. Confirm cable gauge and total current draw against your connected load before installation.
This block does not contain fuses. Protect any positive feed used with an appropriately rated fuse or circuit breaker and tighten set screws within recommended torque limits.
Compare dual-circuit distribution layouts
Compare DB-20 with other two-section distribution layouts in the DAIERTEK range. Matching cable size alone does not establish mechanical interchangeability.
| Model | Main Ports | Branch Ports | Architecture | Layout Reference |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DB-20 Current Product |
2 x 4 AWG | 8 x 8 AWG | 2 isolated sections | This product |
| DB-33 | 2 x 1/0 AWG | 4 x 4 AWG | 2 isolated sections | Two 1-in / 2-out paths |
| DB-35 | 2 x 4 AWG | 8 x 8 AWG | 2 isolated sections | Two 1-in / 4-out paths |
| DB-36 | 2 x 2 AWG | 4 x 4 AWG | 2 isolated sections | Two 1-in / 2-out paths |
Port counts are totals for each listed block. Each model below uses two electrically isolated conductive sections, but the cable sizes and branch counts differ. Select the model from circuit architecture, connected load, cable sizes, mounting space and service requirements.
Power and ground distribution in 12V electrical systems

Positive and Negative Distribution in One Assembly
Use the two isolated sections to organize a positive feed and a negative return for an amplifier rack or auxiliary DC equipment, keeping high-current cables grouped in one compact block without the two circuits touching.

Two Independent DC Circuits
Route two separate 4 AWG main cables to two groups of four 8 AWG branch cables when two independent circuits must be distributed from one location, such as a main audio feed and a secondary accessory feed.
Auxiliary Power and Ground Distribution
Use the two isolated sections to organize compatible auxiliary DC power and return connections within one assembly. DB-20 does not contain fuses; protect every section used for positive distribution with appropriately rated overcurrent protection.
Application examples describe potential installation contexts, not verified fitment to a particular vehicle. Confirm the internal connection arrangement of the block for your circuit, protect the feed and branch circuits as required, and confirm cable size, current demand, mounting location and environmental exposure before installation.
