ASW-A701S 275A M8 Battery Selector Switch

DAIERTEK ASW-A701S is a rotary battery selector switch with 1 / 2 / BOTH / OFF operation and three M8 brass studs (approximately 5/16 inch in diameter). It is specified for 275 A working current and 1,250 A cranking current at 12 V DC, over a 12-48 V DC operating range. Current ratings are reduced by 50% at 24 V DC. Its 68 x 68 x 75 mm body defines the installation footprint. The selector connects a common load to battery 1, battery 2 or both batteries, while OFF disconnects the load. The product is supplied for automotive aftermarket distributors and vehicle auxiliary-power assembly programs.

Product Details

01 Working and cranking current ratings
The working current is 275 A and the cranking current is 1,250 A at 12 V DC. Apply 50% current derating at 24 V DC. Cranking capacity is separate from the working current rating.
02 Three M8 terminal studs
The selector connects a common load to battery 1, battery 2 or both batteries, while OFF disconnects the load. The M8 studs have an approximate 5/16-inch diameter reference; M8 remains a metric thread and is not a 5/16-inch imperial thread.
03 Compact mounting footprint
The body measures 68 x 68 x 75 mm. The rear cover provides access to the three selector connections.
