BATTERY SWITCH / BATTERY DISCONNECT SWITCH / MANUAL POWER ISOLATION

ASW-A705 Series Compact ON-OFF battery disconnect switches

The four ASW-A705 versions are rated at 50 A, 100 A, 200 A and 300 A continuous. Their cranking capacities are 300 A for 5 seconds, 500 A for 5 seconds, 1,000 A for 5 seconds and 1,000 A for 30 seconds, respectively. DAIERTEK ASW-A705 Series provides compact rotary ON-OFF control for vehicle battery and auxiliary DC circuits. The range includes 50 A, 100 A, 200 A and 300 A current versions, with red or black knob options for distributor ranges and vehicle equipment programs. ASW-A705-300A is specified at 300 A continuous, 450 A for 5 minutes and 1,000 A cranking for 30 seconds, with a maximum operating voltage of 32 V DC. Its copper M10 terminals and threaded panel-mount body provide a compact connection point for battery cable assemblies. Electrical and dimensional specifications vary by model.

Product Details

  • 01 Three current ratings for the 300 A version

ASW-A705-300A separates continuous load capacity from temporary and engine-starting duty: 300 A continuous, 450 A for 5 minutes and 1,000 A for 30 seconds. These values apply to the 300 A version, not to every model in the series.

  • 02 Copper terminals and threaded panel mounting

The 300 A version uses two copper M10 x 1.25 terminal studs and an M52 x 1.5 mounting thread. The rotary knob gives a visible ON-OFF control point while the panel-mount format keeps the switching body behind the mounting surface.

  • 03 Control appearance for wholesale and OEM ranges

Red and black knob examples, alternative face icons and removable knob assemblies are shown in the product photographs. Appearance and packaging options can be coordinated for distributor, private-label and vehicle equipment programs.

Typical battery-switch applications

Automotive Auxiliary Battery Circuits

Manual isolation for accessory or auxiliary battery feeds for service and storage.

RV, Camper and Utility Vehicle Systems

A disconnect point for low-voltage DC systems, installed with suitable cable sizing and circuit protection.

Equipment Service Disconnects

Battery isolation during maintenance, storage or transport when installed in an accessible, protected location.

Aftermarket and Private-Label Programs

A repeatable product platform for distributors and qualified OEM projects.

Install with cable sizes, ring terminals and circuit protection appropriate to the connected load. Short-duration current ratings describe carrying capacity; they do not establish short-circuit protection or permission to disconnect a running engine.
