Product Details
- 01 Continuous and starting current capacity
The 500 A continuous-current rating supports high-current battery feeds. Intermittent capacity is 900 A for 5 minutes, and cranking capacity is 1,750 A for 30 seconds. Maximum operating voltage is 32 V DC.
- 02 Single-circuit ON-OFF and AFD control
ON connects the battery feed to the load group; OFF isolates the main circuit. Separate AFD contacts can interrupt the field circuit of a compatible externally regulated alternator when wired according to the installation procedure. They are not an automatic charging relay or a general-purpose alternator protection device.
- 03 Tinned copper M12 connections and mounting
Two tinned-copper M12 studs provide the main cable connections. M12 has an approximate 1/2-inch diameter reference, but remains a metric thread. The grey housing supports surface or rear-panel mounting.

High current battery-control applications

Commercial Vehicle Battery Circuits
Manual isolation of a high-current battery feed in a compatible commercial-vehicle electrical system.

RV and Auxiliary Power Systems
A single-circuit battery-control point for corresponding high-current auxiliary-power installations.

Equipment Starting and Service Circuits
Battery isolation in equipment installations whose load and starting duty match the stated current ratings.

Aftermarket and Private-Label Programs
A repeatable product platform for distributors and qualified OEM projects.
Size the cables and circuit protection for the connected load. AFD operation depends on a compatible alternator field circuit and correct wiring; do not assume it permits battery disconnection with every engine running.
